G'day all,

Mother's Day is fast approaching, in May. Now is a good time to think about how you can let your mum know that you appreciate her.

At Inkyfingers and our Etsy shop, we have a great range of handmade items and craft supplies that could be just what you are after to meet your, or your mum's crafting needs. We have papers, stamps, inks, paints, dies and plenty of other accessories.

If you are thinking about a special card, check out the "Box Cards" and "Cards" sections of the site if you are looking for ideas. Use the "Contact Us" form if you would like us to make a card especially for your mum.

ANZAC Day

G'day all.

Today, 25th of April, is ANZAC day here in AUS and NZ. It's basically a day were we remember the soldiers who set ashore on the beaches at ANZAC Cove in Gallipoli, Turkey and also to the incredible women who helped heal and care for the wounded as they were brought back to the hospital ships. The horrors they all would have endured would be almost unthinkable.

Over on Di's blog, she has done a fantastic blog about an ANZAC Day Video/Blog hop with other amazing Aussie/NZ crafters where they show there skills and make some great cards and other tributes in remembrance and friendship. Also in the Blog, you will also find many great images of other cards that use the Poppy flower (synonymous with ANZAC Day) and the tools used.

So head over to Di's Blog page and enjoy a great read and watch some amazing videos that have been made as part of the Video/Blog Hop.

Etsy Shop is open!

G'day everyone!

I just want to let everyone know that we have now opened up an Etsy shop that will have some of our handmade items on it such as journals, cards, card box sets and accessories. There is also be a great range of Digital Art that is simply downloaded after purchase. So no shipping costs. :)

By having the Etsy store, we can now have shipping to other countries around the world which was a limitation that we couldn't really offer before. Don't worry, the Inkyfingers.com.au store is still around with its great products shipping all around Australia. :)

Sooo, I guess I should give the Etsy link right? or this whole blog post is pointless! ;)

New Item : Journal pins and dangles

G'day all. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Just a quick blog this time to announce that we have added some new items to the shop.
For anyone that follows us on social media will know that a few days ago we started adding the pins and dangles. They are handmade and will make a fantastic finishing touch to any of your craft works. They will also just make a very nice gift.

The pins and dangles are packaged in their own handmade boxes and wrapped with tissue paper to help protect them as much as possible.

So, please feel free to check them out. We will be adding more in different colours and designs so we should have a good wide range to choose from.

New Year, New Stock & handmade journal Winner!

G'day all!

From all of us at Inkyfingers Craft Supplies, HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope you all have a bright and prosperous 2018. :)

Ok, 2 things to kick off the first blog of 2018! New stock and the handmade journal winner!

Firstly. New paper in stock! We have in stock some of the lovely scrapbook paper from Paper Arts in New Zealand. The paper is absolutely brilliant and we have put it through a few stress tests to try it out and it passed with absolute flying colours.
You can find the paper in the store right now, just head to the Paper Items section.

Also, we have added a range of Gallery Stretched Canvasses to our stock from X-PressIt. They are made with a pine frame, triple primed with acid free gesso, 100% cotton duck canvas and the edges are staple free!
The sizes we currently have available are: 4"x4", 8"x10", 8"x16", 12"x12" and 20"x20"

Secondly. The winner for the handmade journal! We were running a competition throughout November and December to win this amazing handmade journal.

All that was required to enter was to place an order. Simple. Well, it's time to announce the Winner!
.... and the Winner is (queue unheard drum-roll)
.... Tania Von Dohren! Congrats Tania, the journal is on its way to you. :)

New paper from Paper-Arts NZ

G'day all,

I was recently contacted by the people from Paper-Arts.co.nz asking if we would like to become a stockist for their paper products. They were kind enough to send us a sample of the paper and, to say the least, we were very impressed.

The colours and tactile qualities of the papers are brilliant. The paper is in 12" x 12" (30.5cm x 30.5cm) squares and it is 200gsm. All the pages are double-sided and they are printed in New Zealand and on archival quality 100% recycled paper.

We have put the paper through a few basic stress tests including cutting with different tools and dies, scoring with the score board, aggressive finger pressing, firm creasing with a bone folder, edging with various inks and markers, punching and chomping...this paper passed all these tests with flying colours.

We are in the process of ordering in some of these amazing papers so keep an eye out on the shop to know when they become available. We will also mention it on Facebook and Twitter so don't forget to follow us on either (or both) to keep up with the latest news. We are also on Instagram where we post images of products and other crafty works. :)

Competition Announcement! YAY!

G'day all!

Its a sunny Monday here in Hobart and I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

We would like you leave a photo, showcasing your latest creation (be it a card, journal or whatever you have recently worked on) on our Facebook page. Inkyfingers Craft Supplies YouTube channel is live!

G'day everyone. Hope you are all well. :)

I have finally got around to setting up our YouTube channel. The link for the channel is: Inkyfingers YouTube

We are going to have a range of videos such as Product Reviews, Tutorials, Tip's 'n Tricks and we will also have be having the occasional competition!

It's a bit sparse at the moment since it's only been live for a few days but we do have the first video uploaded. The video is a Product Review and a short Tutorial on the 3 Bows die set.

The 3 Bow die set is available in the shop, just go to the Dies and Punches section to find it. Here are a few pics to show the die and the end result.

More second hand stamp sets and punches

G'day all, Hope all is well.

Just want to let you all know that more of the second hand stamp box sets are now available in the shop.
The sets are in excellent condition (some stamps not even used) and they range from 4 stamps up to 24 in each box set.

Some more pics.

Also, we have added Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz tin stamp sets to the second hand section of the shop. There are 4 tins in each collection and each tin is sold separately.

Finally for this blog post, the last items added to the second hand section of the shop is Punches.
The punches are in excellent condition.
