I haven't long found this challenge site and I always enjoy the amount of thought I need to put into each entry. There is usually lots of lovely feedback from participants too, which is lovely.
Another reason was that I was having a quiet afternoon as the lads are out. Distracting myself by making a card saved me from a further dose of CUP, (Christmas Unpreparedness Panic), an endemic little virus that can strike at anytime, now it's November.
We stopped for lunch at a dear little cafe set in an orchard...pies of every description are their mantra, and apples feature, not surprisingly.
After lunch we drove through back roads through Crabtree to Lucaston to our favourite apple juice producer. They have an honesty fridge right by the roadside where you can help yourself to two litre containers of some of the best apple juice I have ever tasted...we call by there anytime we are in the vicinity and have some cash in the car...
